DescriptionThe purpose of the Category Support Specialist is to support internally Category Managers & Principal Category Managers at Vodafone Procurement Company Luxembourg with operational and administrative tasks, as instructed by the VPC category managers, in relation to sourcing projects and events.Job Responsibility
  1. Gather data from internal and external sources and prepares accurate and timely analytics / reports of category historical spend, savings, markets and suppliers as requested by the category manager.
  2. Track operationally supplier contracts and OLA / Catalogues
  3. Support supplier onboarding in the system, maintains and tracks the correct category supplier base data and their performance information
  4. Ensure that all operational and administrative processes are followed in the process of sourcing
  5. Ensure that all operational and administrative processes are followed in the process of e-Sourcing through use of internal digital tools
  6. Ensure that relevant measures of business performance are captured and represented in reporting dashboards and presentations, as instructed by the category manager.
  7. Supports additional ad-hoc administrative /operational requests from the Category Team
  8. Provides support to the category managers in preparation of standard/customised reports and presentations
  9. Continuously look for improvement opportunities in the processes where involved and feed back to the category teams
