Job Description

We at Asite are looking to fill a number of key roles in our head-office team, based in Ahmedabad. Asite is hiring Senior Java Developers for Ahmedabad location. We expect an extraordinary attention to detail from all members of the Asite team. Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop different modules (or part thereof) of a given application.
  • Java Coding of various Asite features, troubleshooting, Unit Testing etc.
  • Code as per standard design practices using proper tools and efficient development process.
  • Participate in peer code review with respect to standard coding practices.
  • Opportunity to work on latest cloud computing and collaborative technologies.
  • Work on cutting edge, mission critical J2EE based enterprise software applications.
Desired Skills & Experience:
  • Should have knowledge of OOPs concepts, Core Java, J2EE (EJB, JSP, Servlet), Spring, Spring boot, JPA.
  • Knowledge of UML, design patterns, hibernate, SQL Server would be good.
  • Hands on Experience on Web services with REST is must and SOAP is nice to have. Good Command and hands on experience working on tool set like Eclipse IDE, SQL clients.
  • Experience using Application server like Tomcat, JBoss, Wildfly.
  • Experience with distributed computing is a plus. Familiarity with AWS is a plus.
  • Knowledge on JIRA and AGILE Scrum process would be an advantage .
  • Pro-active in problem resolutions with good co-ordination skills is desirable.
  • Flexible, self-starter, fast-learner - willing and able to quickly learn new technologies and skills.
  • Must be self-motivated and capable of working independently.
