Job Description

We are looking for talented - Software Engineer - Backend having strong experience in developing backend application using framework like NodeJS, Express, NestJS, Apollo GraphQL using javascript, typescript as primary language of programming. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the backend development and deployment. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and a quality product are important. Key Result Areas:

  • Managing development processes, workflow and notes
  • Generating bug-free code and compliance of SOW
  • Guiding team members, supervising their work and helping them grow in technical skills
  • When required managing client communication for projects assigned
  • Be an active part in the technical revolution and technical transformation in the company
  • Handle queries and technical issues of clients
  • Doing impact analysis [Regression Test]
  • Reporting on project activities and ensuring timely completion of projects/assignments
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Creation of Technical Specs of Project, if assigned
  • Supporting HR in technical rounds of selection process
  • Managing code documents repository of the project on the server
Must Have
JavaScript
  • ES6
  • NodeJS
  • ExpressJS, Understanding of Express middlewares.
  • Database SQL/NoSql.
  • Understanding of APIs (REST).
  • Build tools - npm, Webpack/parcel/babel, Babel, ESLint, prettier.
  • Source control - git.
Nice To Have
  • Knowledge of NestJS, Sanity.io would be a plus
  • Schema validation joi.
  • GraphQL
  • Microservices architecture
  • Any ORM framework (sequelize, mongoose).
  • Tools to make JavaScript a statically typed language (e.g. Flow, TypeScript).
  • Testing tools - Jest, Enzyme.
  • CI/CD (Travis, Docker, AWS).
