Job Description

Description

Apttus is looking for experienced Sr. Solution Consultants in managing Apttus salesforce.com/Microsoft Azure based quote- to- cash suite of products, including CPQ (configure/price/quote), contract management, Billing, revenue and rebate management, and other related solutions managed services engagements. The ideal candidate will work closely with Customers, internal Functional Managers and Developers in building robust, scalable and flexible solutions for various Managed Services assignments which may involve designing prototypes, building proof of concepts and following architecture roadmaps for Apttus products post- go live. The Solution Consultant will work in a fast- paced, dynamic environment working with cross- functional teams internally and at customer sites. The candidate will become highly proficient in Apttus suite of products and be recognized as an expert in the CPQ and Contract Management domain areas. Apttus MS assignments typically categorized under on- demand or annual package based. The Solution Consultant may have several assignments running concurrently, requiring the need to manage activities across the different customers/assignments simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Understand the Customer s Needs and Wishes, influence and refine their requirements
  • Guide customers for their business processes keeping domain and Product best practices intact.
  • Provide one or more options for the Solution
  • Document the Requirements, Functional Specs and Solution
  • Sell/Justify the solution and estimation to Customers/Internal Stakeholders
  • Perform hands- on configurations and administration activities
  • Ensure solution is scalable and meets overall business requirements including that of non- functional requirements
  • Hands- on administration experience in salesforce.com or azure platform
  • Be recognized as a functional expert in Quote to Cash domain
  • Guide technical team (developers) to deliver a flexible and scalable solution
  • Experience in hands on design, prototyping, development, configurations, testing and other implementation activities
  • Provide mentorship and supervise developers
  • Participate in pre- sales activities and internal initiatives as required

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
  • 5 to 8 years of experience as a team member of successful software project implementations related to SaaS, Quote- to- Cash, Salesforce.com CRM or ERP
  • Awareness of web, database, and object oriented software technologies
  • Strong Team Player, Critical Thinker, Analytical, and strong Problem- solving skills are required
  • Ability to understand the underlying architecture of the existing implementation quickly and perform the effective impact assessment within the competitive timeframe
  • Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Multitasker, Quick learner and Adaptive
  • Ability to create Win- Win Situations for Customers and Apttus
  • Good understanding about the release and change management
  • Flexible in working in shifts such as Evening Shift (4 pm to 1 am IST) or Morning Shift (8 am to 4 pm IST)
  • Experience in more than one CRM platforms, preferably cloud based, is a plus
  • Experience in Post Implementation and Ongoing maintenance projects is a big plus
  • Well read about the new developments around the Clouds, QTC Industry, Machine Learning and AI

Certifications Required:

  • Salesforce/CRM/Cloud/Azure Certification (Must)
  • ITIL/Agile Certification (Preferred)
