Civil Design Engineer

Job Description

What will you contribute Masters Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an institute of repute. 5+ years total experience, of which at least 3 should be in bridge design. Experience in structural engineering software and MS-Office. Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills. Ability to work effectively with colleagues, seniors, team members and clients. Experience of technical leadership at feasibility and detailed design stages. Ability to fully understand, explain, present and solve complex technical problems for technical and non-technical audiences. Experience in bridge engineering software such as LUSAS, SAM-LEAP, RM-Bridge, ADAPT, MIDAS/Civil or Super SUITE. Knowledge of AutoCAD or MicroStation. Experience of working abroad or on international projects. Experience of working in UK and Europe Market preferred. Exposure to international codes of practice. Competency in writing technical reports and making presentations. Commercial knowledge estimates, programmes and costs. Professional accreditation from ICE/ IStructe preferred. Produce design solutions from outline briefs, correctly interpret data and effectively communicate to others.
