Job Description

    Job DescriptionYou have the incredible job of ensuring advertising campaigns are executed effectively (meaning making the most of client budgets) and fully across our entire suite of digital advertising options. You are trusted with the most precious of all jobs: delivering results for our clients. Youll be responsible for the set-up, execution, and monitoring of campaigns across a portfolio of clients, and your job is to get them an incredible return on their investment.Were looking for a detail-oriented self-starter to fill the role of Ad Ops Executive for[insert company name]. As a member of the Ad Ops executive team, youll be responsible for managing client success across our suite of advertising offerings, which include:

    Below are examples of potential job duties, but will need to be made specific to your platforms and advertising types:
    • Optimization of client campaigns across platforms and all advertising types.
    • QA of advertisements and/or campaigns.
    • Set-up, management, and monitoring of ad placements, and reporting methods across platforms.
    • Generate performance reports from platforms and provide them to client-facing teams.
    • Support for client relationship managers in selling and planning technical aspects of campaigns.
    This role also includes working closely and collaboratively with other departments like the sales and marketing, engineering, and creative teams. The ability to build and maintain relationships is a key measure of success in the role.The most important skills youll need in this role are:
    • Attention to detail:This is easily the most important skill because launching a campaign usually involves dealing with plenty of tech band-aids and must be done exactly right.
    • Sense of fun:You will work closely with other members of the team on every aspect of your job, and we like to have fun doing it.
    • Quick learner:Each ad stack comes with its own set of intricacies and processes, and an attitude that allows you to learn as you go is incredibly important.
    • Self-managed:Youll have regular check-ins with your manager on performance, but keeping track of how your client campaigns are performing on a daily basis is an important aspect of this job. Specifically, you are expected to keep track of the following for each of your client campaigns:
      • Which campaigns are pacing behind expectations
      • Which campaigns are low on funds
      • Which new campaigns they need to launch
      • Where are fires that need to be addressed immediately
    • Solid communication skills:Youll have to communicate with every other team on a regular basis, and the ideal candidate must be able to extract the right information from those interactions to launch campaigns properly.
    • Easygoing:This role definitely needs someone who can roll with the punches, and doesnt get their feelings hurt easily. Its a tough role to fill, and being overly sensitive will only make it harder.
    • Positivity and enthusiasm:As a team leader, enthusiasm and positivity will lift your team up and keep them focused on their goals.
