• She/he will be responsible for technical leadership of NFC Android MW based product development from design to deployment
• She/he will be participating in feature design, system architecture design and apply specialized domain knowledge in a broad spectrum of technology areas including technology trends, current industry standards, and latest solution development techniques
• She/he will be reviewing source code to keep and raise source code quality standards
• She/he will determine best coding practices, development tools, hardware and validation requirements
• She/he will be resposible for maintaining the KPIs (Code Coverage, Coverity etc.)
• She/he will be single point contact for NFC MW stack and integration issues, and be the primary interface for internal and external teams.
• She/he will be responsible for conceptualize and define technology vision for a set of products in linewith business vision for the same
• She/he will represent company on various internal and external tech forumKey Areas of Responsibility
• She/he interacts with multiple sites in the company as well as between developers, validation engineers, system architects and project managers, product/program manager to evaluate feasibility of requirements and determine priorities for development
• She/he will be responsible for defining middleware stack requirements and providing the efforts esimation of each requirement.
• She/he will be responsible for design and developmemt of Android NFC MW modules (Drivers, HAL, Libraries, Framwork etc) of some defined projects
• She/he will be responsible for driving the implementation of new features and guiding the team for solving the errors raised interanlly or raised by customer.
• She/he will be required to follow the reporting structure, both internally, and if required, externally to the customer(s)
• She/he will be challenged on the KPIs evolutions, including test coverage, test scope and code quality improvements.
• She/he will be responsible for aligning with software distribution license terms aligned with Quality teams.

Skills

• Mandatory
  • Overall experience of at least 8 years.
  • 6+ years expert experience in Linux/Android OS development (BSP, MW, Framework etc.) and board bring up
  • 6+ years of experience in C/C++/Java programming skills with very good knowledge of OS architecture and must be still hands on with C++.
  • Expert in working with Android Open Source Project (AOSP) and good know-how of open source contribution and licensing terms.
  • Fluent with GIT repositories, Android builds and related tooling (repo, Gnu make)
  • Must have good hands on experience on Android HALs and Framework layers
  • Good understanding of Hardware, schematics and communication protocols (ISO14443, ISO7816, UART, I2C, SPI SWP)
  • Must have experience with multiple SW technology development and end-to-end product integration (kernel, MW, android framework, firmware etc.)
  • Good experience in embedded software development
  • Goal-oriented and should work independently
  • Ability to develop, execute, debug and review tests
  • Ability of improving processes, especially test processes, toward speed and quality
  • High level of commitment
  • Structured and analytical thinking
  • Experience of configuration management tool (SVN) and bug tracking tools like bugzilla/tracker.
  • Ability to travel abroad for short period, on short notice

• Recommended/optional
  • Knowledge of NFC, SmartCards, MIFARE, JavaCard, SIM Cards, EMVCo
  • Knowledge of Cryptographic algorithms & security protocols
  • Knowledge of Shell scripting and language like Perl, Python.
  • A deep knowledge of NFC environment, NFC standards and a broad view of SW testing methods and test automation
  • Knowledge of automated test platforms
