Job Description

    Job DescriptionProduct owner with AWS knowledge with 8+ years of experience
    • Act as liaison between an organization s development team and product managers
    • Provide a clear description and outline of product features and User Stories and establish acceptance criteria for easy comprehension by the development team
    • Manage product backlog and backlog visibility and roadmap in order to prioritize user stories for implementation
    • Set deadline for product development as well as release date for products
    • Work closely with a scrum team comprising of scrum master and developers
    • Participates in scrum meetings to give feedback on sprint achievement, as well as to set sprint goals and relay new user stories
    • Partner with key stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify value add enhancements
    • Maintain feedback loop with stakeholders and SMEs concerning product release and customer opinion
    • Create artefacts to reflect and communicate discoveries and proposals in a manner that ensures high quality, and highly efficient knowledge transfer occurs, facilitating informed collaboration amongst the stakeholders from both the customer and the engineering perspectives.
    • Be able to rank and prioritize capabilities with the architects. Be able to represent the customer. Be able to really articulate the underlying why and drivers for change.
    • Should be able to articulate requirements pertaining to data injection pipelines, schema validation techniques, ETLs
    • Working knowledge of AWS services - Apigateway, Kinesis, Lambda, firehouse, SNS, SQS, Oracle, Dynamo DB, Step functions, s3, elastic cache(redis)
    • Clear understanding of caching mechanisms including working knowledge of Redis Cache
    • Working knowledge on APIs, data brokering techniques
    • Data Engineering basic understanding- SQL, NoSQL, HDFS
    • Conceptual Understanding of data-pipelines, stream processing, batch-processing, pub-sub, failover process, caching, scalability, horizontal integration, microservices and multitenancy
    • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
    • Good to have- Domain knowledge in Logistics
    • Good to have-Prior dev experience on the data side
