Job Description

IntroductionThe Finance & Admin Business Analyst is essential to the ongoing profitable operations for one of the most globally recognized and respected companies in the world. By overseeing our financial activities, you will enable IBM to continue to bring to market ground-breaking innovations such as Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Solutions, Cloud Infrastructure, and Blockchain technologies, to name a few.Your Role and Responsibilities As an Audit Specialist, you are responsible for planning and execution of IT-related audits with respect to IT-applications and IT-infrastructure with special focus on the European/German standards of the banking industry based on international audit standards. Responsibilities:

  • Analysis of (IT-) processes and evaluation with regard to efficiency, effectiveness and inherent risks
  • Preparation of audit reports and presentation of the audit results to the parties/teams reviewed
  • Continuous development of regulatory and banking skills
  • Close cooperation with the audit team in Germany
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Overall 7-10 years experience in the banking business
  • Minimum 5 years experience in the audit function of an international bank
  • In depth knowledge of set up and management of IT systems for banks (IT-applications and IT infrastructure)
  • Expert knowledge of the legal and regulatory requirements for banking industry in Germany and Europe (e.g. KWG, MaRisk, BAIT, EBA Guidelines)
  • Proven communication and coordination skills
  • Proficient in teamwork and to deal with conflicts and ability to work under high time pressure
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and German
  • Experience in control, risk focused and attention to detail
  • Proven client/business focused communication skills
  • Ability to liaise with Technology and communicate system requirements
  • Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals
  • Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications
