Develops, modifies, and executes software test plans, automated scripts and programs for testing. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems. Provides feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software. Ensures quality computer integration into the overall functions of scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing. Survey Tip: Non-engineer roles that are primarily performing audits and tests of software products in accordance with established test plans and procedures and are not involved in the development of test plans should be matched to Software Test Technician (8281-8285).Key Responsibilities

• Overall experience of 10-15 years in Automation and Telecom industry
• Expertise in setting up end-to-end test labs, design the test architecture
• A good understanding of the cloud native environment, k8s, platform, scalability, upgrades, etc.
• Experience in handling and maintenance of multiple test lines
• An expert in Python
• Strong Unix / Linux OS concepts
• Hands on with Backend framework using RestAPI, Flask, Django, PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Hands on with automation tools like Robot Framework, Paramiko, Appium and Selenium
• Understanding on any JavaScript framework would be a plus like Vue, React
• Experience in 4G and 5G Wireless integration / system testing (Feature, Functionality, Performance & Stability) for a minimum of 5 years
• Hands on experience in configuring the NFs through management system will be desirable
• Good understanding of different layers of LTE FDD/TDD protocol Stack
• Familiarity in bringing up test lab on a virtualized environment including but not limited to Kubernetes pods, Docker containers, VMWare ESXI, Plain KVM Hypervisor, is desirable
