Job Description

  • Analyze project security requirements and specify engineering requirements for Cybersecurity risk management of Automotive SoCs (System-On-Chip) in adherence to ISO21434
  • Co-develop SoC security concept with stakeholders (Systems, Marketing, Customers) focusing Automotive Cybersecurity features and Customer use cases.
  • Propose optimal Cybersecurity solutions and secured architectures, including cryptography topics to secure the SoCs developed for highly connected vehicles
  • Technical guidance to Project teams on effective implementation of hardware security
  • Perform Security Analysis (TARA, vulnerability analysis, etc.) to validate the Security Concept using required work products to satisfy ISO:21434
  • Support Tier-1 Customers as well as OEM Automakers in integration of ST Cybersecurity work products at System level
  • Engage with ST suppliers for integration of their security package in ST Security work products
  • Collaborate with experts/consortium members to keep ST Cybersecurity approach aligned with industry standards and identify opportunities for improvement on a timely manner to ensure safeguarding of ST Automotive SoCs from possible new Cybersecurity threats
  • Align with Functional Safety architects to ensure cohesiveness of project security and functional safety architecture and design constructs

  • Proficiency with ISO21434 with the ability to map Cybersecurity requirements to design architectures
  • Strong knowledge of secured architectures (functional and technical)
  • Understanding of cybersecurity algorithms (AES, RSA, SHA, CMAC etc.) and techniques for risk/threat analysis and vulnerability analysis
  • Exposure to ISO26262 Functional safety implementation
  • Working knowledge on Boot-loader/Boot-Up Sequence for microcontrollers
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate to all stakeholders to maximize efficacy for the project
  • Team player attitude within a diverse and multicultural environment
  • Strong work ethics, time management skills and ability to multitask
  • Technical troubleshooting and demonstrated problem solving skills
