Overall 6+ years of IT experience and 3+ years of experience working with AWS and/or Azure or other major cloud platform technologies Provisioning, operating, and maintaining systems running on AWS/Azure and other cloud platforms including deployment/teardown automation Proficient in and understanding of cloud platforms, for example AWS EC2, ECS/EKS, VPC, S3, SMS, Route 53, RDS, Azure VM, Container Instances, Kubernetes Service (AKS), Database for MySQL/PostgreSQL etc. Cloud formation templates and Infrastructure as code (IaC) experience is required. Understanding of Windows and Linux platforms as applied to AWS /Azure. Knowledge of network (LAN, WAN, VPN) and web related protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP, HTTPS, routing protocols). Management of monitoring and metrics using Cloudwatch, CloudTrail, Personal Health Dashboard for AWS and Resource Health, Monitor and Application insights. Experience with security policies like Security Groups, IAM roles and Multi Factor Authentication. Complete awareness of the latest features/capabilities of the AWS/Azure platform. Knowledge on installation, configuration, usage of CLI tools to manage AWS/Azure components. Experience with creation and maintenance of operations documentation for day to day issues and knowledge transfer to other tiers and resources. Excellent troubleshooting skills for AWS /Azure platform. Experience with ITIL/ITSM service operations processes ideally ITIL Foundation certified. ServiceNow exposure or experience with change, configuration, incident and problem management is required. Prior experience in Life Sciences area is a bonus. Other highly regulated industry experience will be considered also.
