Job Description

Job purpose:Architect in the IT Advisory Services team to be part of the delivery of Microsoft or mobile technology based projects on cloud (Azure/AWS) for our customers across the globe.Your Technical responsibilities: (part of description)

  • Solid development experience using Microsoft.Net, .Net Core
  • Design experience using No-SQL databases like Cassandra/Mongo/CosmosDB
  • Front End Development experience using Angular 2.0 & above / ReactJS
  • Good knowledge and Understanding of Microservices
  • Good knowledge and experience on Integration architecture (network, identity, services and data)
  • Cloud Development on Azure
  • Experience consuming RESTful APIs and JSON data
  • End to End API development experience
  • Data access services development
  • TDD, CI/CD, Unit test, Integration test and Mock testing experience
  • Good knowledge and understanding of setting up CI/CD Pipeline using tools like Jenkins, VSTS and others
  • Good understanding of mobile platforms (IOS, Android)
  • Designing cloud native and cloud agnostic solutions
  • Good knowledge on Cloud design patterns
  • Hands-on experience across all phases of SDLC using agile methodologies
Requirements (Qualifications)We are looking for the candidates with the following:
  • BE/BTech/MCA with a sound industry experience of 10 to 14 years
Mandatory skills:
  • Microsoft.Net, .Net Core
  • No SQL (Cassandra / Mongo /Cosmos DB)
  • MySQL, SQL Server
  • Hands-on Azure infrastructure experience
  • Azure (PaaS and SaaS)
  • Azure Services (Functions, Batch, Logic Apps, Active Directory, Analytics)
  • Azure Compute Services, Container Services, Identity, Integration
  • Azure Management and Monitor services
  • CI/CD pipeline setup/deployment
  • Experience of working with Storages
  • Working experience Docker and Kubernetes
Preferred skills:
  • Elasticsearch
  • Working experience on Maven, Chef & Puppet
  • Experience working on CMMI / Agile / SAFE methodologies
Certifications (Mandatory)
  • Cloud architect certification on Azure
Your responsibilities:
  • Responsible for managing cloud computing architecture in PI-Digital practice
  • Leading cultural change for cloud adoption in the practice
  • Developing and coordinating reference cloud architectures
  • Developing a cloud strategy and coordinating the adaptation process
  • Assessing applications, software and hardware
  • Creating a cloud broker team
  • Establish best practices for cloud across the company
  • Selecting cloud providers and vetting third-party services
  • Oversee governance and mitigate risk
  • Work closely with IT-security to monitor privacy and develop incident-response procedures
  • Operating at scale
  • Interview candidates and hire resources
  • A background of working with development best practices.
  • A willingness to be flexible in responding to issues as they occur and the ability to identify product/deployment improvements to mitigate future occurrences.
  • Self-motivated, Strong communication and team building skills.
  • Work iteratively in a team with continuous collaboration.
