Job Description

Senior Backend Engineer - Node JS (8 - 12 years experience)The candidate can operate remotely also.Responsibilities

  • Development of server-side logic and integration with UI.
  • Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.
  • Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications / API.
  • Implementation of security and data protection.
  • Integration of data storage solutions may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.,
  • Deploy and maintain application/services on Cloud ( AWS / Azure ).
Skills And Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years with JavaScript, Node JS, and anyone NoSQL database.
  • Strong proficiency with JavaScript. Exposure to basic functional programming will be a plus.
  • Solid grasp of design patterns with the ability to translate design to low-level code
  • Hands-on REST-based API development experience with Node.js using middlewares like Express or Koa
  • Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds.
  • A good understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3 would be desirable.
  • Experience building at least one enterprise-scale application with a NoSQL database is a must.
  • Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
  • Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.
  • Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
  • Hands-on with code versioning tools- Git
