GlobalFoundries is owned by Mubadala Investment Company.Summary of Role:Reporting to the SVP, CDE, this role is to provide direct leadership for the Customer Design Enablement organization in India and act as the site general manager across a multitude of teams to ensure a strong and integrated site growth, development and leadership plan. Essential Responsibilities Include:

• Works with Global CDE leadership to drive strategy and develop and grow India teams
• Leads GFs Semiconductor s Design & Technical Enablement India teams to support the company s products
• Responsible for development and deployment of global design infrastructure, platforms and process design kits
• Responsible for global design IP development, acquisition, and deployment
• Defines and leads strategic initiatives to improve time to market, cost, and quality for GF s products
• Establishes and leads initiatives to leverage synergy among the company products and engineering teams
• Leads initiatives to improve Product Development Process and IP re-use across the company
• Provide CDE Leadership for a broad and diverse local team that spans:
  • Design and Technical Enablement-
  • Ecosystem and Design Solutions
  • Post Fab
• Acts as Site General Manager to pull together multiple teams to achieve India growth and best in class plans.
  • Leads, Integrates and ensures organization effectiveness across a diverse range of teams in India including CDE, IT, TEQ, Sales, Supply Chain, Fab Operations, HR, etc.
  • Works with Global leaders to ensure awareness and effectiveness of local plans and teams
  • Ensure processes are in line with global, local regulations yet streamlined for scale
  • Leads, motivates, develops, inspires and encourages the India team in line with the company s values
  • Promotes an inclusive and diverse workforce
  • Works to ensure GF India is recognized as a Best Place to Work
  • Leadd and develops an engaged and vibrant GlobalFoundries site; develops and implements an expansion plan for the site

• Corporate Social Responsibility, leads India s CSR efforts including community, ethics, sustainability and ethics
• Compliance and Risk Management, ensuring company policies and legal guidelines are clearly communicated and adequate internal controls and insurance for financial health and risk management of the Company are in place. Implementing and managing GF s Group compliance policies and procedures
• Representation of the Company - Represent the company in conjunction with government affairs and relevant external bodies; be a vocal advocate for the GF experience and brand; act as a legal representative for GF in India

• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

, *Required Qualifications:

• Engineering Degree required
• 15+ years experience leading large Design/Technology Enablement teams and/or General Manager/Managing Director
• Experience in developing and implementing strategic and business plans
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Fluent in Business English (written and spoken, beneficial: German, Hindi)
• Solid financial background
• Proven experience in leading and developing interdisciplinary teams Engineering, HR, IT, Real Estate, etc.
• Proven experience in building high performance team with an open, straightforward team culture
• Proven track record of achieving results and growing businesses successfully
• Experience in implementing process excellence / optimization
• Analytical thinking, initiative, decision-making ability
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Business objective and performance oriented
