Job Description

Monitor large computer networks and servers for problems from a central location They analyze problems perform troubleshooting and incident response on the system communicate with site technicians and track problems through to resolution Create and maintain infrastructure necessary for the growth and upkeep of field and network operations to drive network efficiency and availability Ensure necessary coordination on certification field level testing Coordinate with the technical teams for new enhancementsissue resolution Set up configurations number of fibre pairs in the cable capacity landing stations Manage the complete capacity distribution and traffic activation on the cable system Track and monitor the environment performance to ensure minimal interruption to network transmission andor network switches Lead drive and monitor all maintenance and cost savings activities related to facilities including facility maintenance and thereby ensuring sufficient focus on optimizing cost of facility infrastructure while maintaining reliability both in terms of operations and capital investments Manage marine cables network equipment maintenance international real estate management security operations for all sites and network ensuring adequate support for maintenance of international facilities and network at optimal costs ensuring sufficient focus on optimizing cost of facility infrastructure while maintaining reliability both in terms of operations and capital investmentsBroad outline of the RoleHas enough knowledge within Network Operations Support to allow them to apply their knowledge efficiently and work productively with broad instruction Regularly participates in important projects or activities as a full contributing team member is able to proactively identify important issues or risks seeks the appropriate level of guidance and advice to ensure delivery of quality outcomes Operational role which is responsible for delivering results that have direct impact on the achievement of results within Telecom Network Operations and Maintenance Works under direct supervision Able to identify problems and provide inputs to improve change or adapt existing methods and techniques drawing from personal experiences and feedback Actively acquires more complex skills techniques operating practices knowledge of abstract concepts in order to progress toward full proficiency in the field of specialisation Has skills and knowledge that will allow them to adapt to effectively deal with unfamiliar issues challenges problems within their field of specialisation Education Graduate in any discipline Experience 4 8 yearsWere growing our Cloud Management team within Autodesks Enterprise IT organization. You should have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills to share your thoughts and knowledge effectively.ResponsibilitiesWork in tandem with our engineering team to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutionsBuilding and setting up new development and infrastructure toolsPerforming analysis of request/support items to identify trends and/or areas for the implementation of automation efficienciesBuild automation solutions to reduce manual efforts and increase team efficiencyManaging cloud environments per company security guidelinesProvide guidance, thought leadership, and mentorship to development teams to build cloud competenciesTroubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measuresSolve problems and proactively look for ways to improve cloud platforms and processesRespond to technical issues in a professional and timely mannerInteract with the internal AWS and Azure user communities to understand requests/issues, establish clear expectations, and provide effective communication throughout the support processWork with other members of the globally based Cloud Management Services team to ensure efficient resolution of requestsWork as part of an agile team to proactively communicate status and complete deliverables on scheduleWorking with stakeholders to develop the overall look and design of a webpagesMinimum QualificationsSkills & Work TraitsVery good knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud servicesProficient in writing scripts using Perl, Shell, Python, GO, RubyExperience in frontend development using Vue.js or other toolsExcellent knowledge of AWS IaC (Infrastructure-as-Code) and DevOps expertiseComfortable performing requirements analysis, interfacing with stakeholders of various levels and documenting solutionsExperience in CI/CD systems, Jenkins, GitHub, or similar toolsAbility to articulate technical topics to non-technical audiences both in writing, in diagrams, and in personEnergetic team player who works well across boundaries and readily adapts to change and enjoys rapid developmentConfident of your skills, abilities, and willingness to share what you know, while learning from othersAbility to think and act with an automation mindset to problem-solvingDeals well with ambiguous or undefined problemsAbility to think abstractly and guide othersStrong written and oral communication skillsExperience working on configuration management tools such as Chef(optional)Experience5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS (Terraform, CloudFormation, EC2, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, VPC, Route 53, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and IAM)3+ years of development/automation experience (with tools such as Python, Node.js, Go, Rest APIs, etc.)1+ years experience in frontend development (with tools like Vue.js, React, Angular)1+ year of hands-on experience with Azure cloudEducationBachelors Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experienceAWS and Azure Certifications are plus,
