Hi CandidatesGreetings of the dayWe are hiring for,Cloud Engineer Cloud Engineer will work closely with the Infrastructure team to ensure that the Evive infrastructure is always functioning effectively and securely.Design and develop the infrastructure and tooling systems that run the Evive products, and help maintain tools for configuration, deployment, monitoring, scaling, and operations.Cloud Engineers also help in troubleshooting our rapidly expanding infrastructure for any problem.Key Responsibilities Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools based on best practices and system security.Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies to maintain server/data safety.Plan and implement systems automation by writing and maintaining custom scripts/tools to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks.Managing all installed systems, network and computing infrastructure.Proactively monitoring all installed applications, network and system infrastructure to ensure high availability, potential bottlenecks, structural integrity.Reporting the issues and identifying possible solutions to work with others to implement those fixes.Provide 2nd and 3rd level support to IT support staff and Timely reporting, communicating, and responding to any glitches. (eg: h/w failure, etc)Liaising with vendors and keeping relevant stakeholders up to date with developments.Maintain and supervise the system, network devices inventory.Advice on suitable hardware and software to meet company needs.Oversee the development of customized software and hardware requirements.Oversee the constant availability of technical resources.Documenting process/steps and Reviewing control documents.Selecting the best possible solutions using knowledge of a wide range of available technologies.You will tackle challenging, novel situations every day and work with just about every other engineering team.Skill RequirementsDeep Understanding (best practices, standards and services, etc) of Web tier, App tier, Datatier, Data Center, Distributed system and Cloud Computing.Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting UNIX /Linux based environments.Proven working experience to manage several servers at once.Hands-on experience in implementing distributed solutions at on-premises and cloud (preferably in AWS).Knowledge of Big data technologies and aware of the problems involved in storing and processing large amounts of data.Solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks (e.g., Tomcat, Apache, NGINX, HaProxy).Solid scripting skills (e.g., shell scripts, Python). Good communication skills (written, verbal, and face-to-face).Excellent conflict resolution, analytical, and decision-making skills. Capable of providing guidance and instruction to help teams solve problems and manage projects.Experience with monitoring systems (Datadog, etc). Knowledge of networking technologies (OSI network layers, TCP/IP).Experience with automation software (SaltStack, Puppet, etc). You have done System Failure Analysis in a methodical fashion.Knowledge of Disaster Recovery, Capacity planning, Incident, and Problem management.Exposure on Security, and Data protection.Holding one or more professional certifications (Certified Systems Engineer, Solutions Expert, CISSP, etc) will be an added advantage.Knowledge of Development environment software would be a plus.Exposure to Containerization would be a plus.Willingness to sign a confidentiality agreement and protect trade secrets.Qualification and Experience BTech or MTech in Computer Science or a related technical discipline (or equivalent)2+ years of experience in System Engineer or related rolesSome exposure on Product/Project ManagementRegards,Hr Team
