The Maersk Windows Cloud Engineer role within Technology Operations is focused on incident response and user request fulfilment for all services running within the managed Azure estate. You will need to ensure that systems remain compliant and available.Show More We offerYou will be a member of a support team providing resources to address issues and incidents raised by Maersk s application teams and to support digital capabilities across the businessWe re developing and managing modern service offerings using modern technology to enable our business to go all the way.You will need to keep abreast of all new Azure IaaS and Microsoft Windows updates and services. Ensuring that these can be managed and supported by the team. Show More Key responsibilitiesProviding 24 x 7 cover for Azure Windows estateEnsuring that SOP s and knowledge articles exist for all deployed technologies.Preparing and installing O/S patchesEnsuring that the platform is fully patched.Ensure that solutions are supportable in a scalable way without significant human intervention.Responsible for the availability and performance of solutions hosted in Azure.Maintain a wide depth and breadth of IaaS and PaaS knowledge across the Azure estate.Document, communicate and log follow up actions for later triage, prioritisation and action to avoid reoccurrences. Maintain awareness of the forward schedule of change and changes actively in play or recently completed such that this awareness can be leveraged in the event of an incident occurring on the same or impacted platforms.Assist in the creation of high quality documentation in accordance to the organisation s standardsCarry out risk assessment and reporting.Show More We are looking for6+ years demonstrable expertise in MS Windows Server2 years demonstrable expertise in Azure 2 years experience with Powershell scripting6+ years demonstrable IT Infrastructure knowledge across a wide range of technologies.3+ years experience working with incidents in a mission critical environment3+ years hands-on experience working with service management tools like ServiceNow, BMC etc.Ability to troubleshoot Powershell scriptsCapability to troubleshoot in a Cloud environment and how all parts of the infrastructure interact e.g storage, guest operating systemsGood understanding of Application architectures.Broad knowledge of IT Operations in an enterprise environment.Good understanding of Microsoft technologies; e.g. Active Directory, Windows Server, SCCM, SQL Server, IIS, and web hostingWill have one or more of the following Azure certifications Azure Administrator Associate MCSA Windows ServerShow More, The Maersk Windows Cloud Engineer role within Technology Operations is focused on incident response and user request fulfilment for all services running within the managed Azure estate.
