Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design networking controls, configure, install, and test multi cloud hosted solutions; install upgrades and maintain network operating systems within the Azure and AWS cloud environment
  • Recommend, deploy, and manage cloud solutions such as VNETS, VWAN, VPCs, Transit Gateway, segmentation, containerization, firewalls, WAF, and other cloud technology solutions.
  • Network architecture experience with IP networking, VPNs, DNS, load balancing & firewalls
  • Create and review architecture and solution design for projects
  • Understand cloud infrastructure and on prem network designs, including network segmentation and security solutions
  • Proficient in maintaining Spoke/Hub network topologies
  • Document new and existing infrastructure deployments including architecture diagrams and run-book instructions
  • Network knowledge in TCP/IP, BGP, IPSec, DNS, Load balancing, HTTP, firewall, and experience in troubleshooting
  • Prior experience in developing on public cloud platforms like AWS/Google Cloud/Azure is a must
  • Working in cross-domain meetings of subject matter experts and facilitating collaboration.
  • Supporting Implementation, testing and operations teams with architectural insights to triage and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Documenting and maintaining end to end architectures for complex multi-domain program
  • Attending weekly stand ups and reviewing/analyzing weekly status reports for actionable items.
Qualifications:
  • 5 years experience as a Cloud Network Engineer or equivalent engineering role.
  • Senior level experience in infrastructure administration. Preferably with advanced Terraform coding deployments as a primary skill.
  • Advanced knowledge of Cloud networking concepts and technologies
  • Proven ability to migrate workloads to the cloud
  • Ability to configure, design, troubleshoot network architectures involving firewalls, Transit Gateways, Azure VWAN, Cross Connects and appliances
  • In-depth knowledge of network security and security operations, including but not limited to: firewalls (Palo Alto, AWS WAF), F5 load balancers, unified threat management, IPS, etc.
  • Deep technical knowledge across multiple technical domains including: application development, cloud computing, security, identity and access management, and IT infrastructure.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong collaboration and partnering skills
Preferred Skills:
  • Information Technology/Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
  • Information Technology/Cisco Certified Network Professional/Expert (CCNP/CCIE)
  • Cloud Architect Certifications (Azure Architect, AWS Architect or equivalent certifications)
  • Cloud Networking Certifications (Azure/AWS Advanced Networking or equivalent certifications)
  • VPC/VNET peering, Network/Application Security Groups, NACL, route-table updates
  • Troubleshooting in cloud networks (Network Watcher, Flow Logs, Cloud Trails etc.)
  • Infrastructure as Code tooling to manage environments like Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Maintaining routing, security, load balancing, front door, and other standing cloud-based network services
