Job Description

    Job Decription: DCOPS-Data Center OperationsExperience 0.6 to 6 years.Excellent written and verbal communication.
    • Operate and monitor systems, detection, and communications essential for handling calls and support urgent incidents & communications between the support groups.
    • Need to monitor Remedy ITSM tool, assign the tickets to concerned support groups and handle requests for change (RFC s).
    • Have good understanding on DCOPS monitoring and L1 & L2 functions.
    • Exposure to TWS [ Tivoli workload Scheduler] will be an added advantage.
    • Monitoring of internal and production systems and Upon detection of a problem, alarm or event, diagnose the impact to services & troubleshoot the problem, attempting a 1st line fix where possible and if not then escalating/paging level two engineers.
    • Understanding of Network Monitoring Concepts and management tools Review and update the status of problems in trouble-ticketing system(Like Service Now etc)
    • Experience with Monitoring tools, Like SCOM, Splunk & Solarwinds.
    • Good knowledge on networking concepts like LAN, WAN, Networking concepts like TCP/IP , HTTP FTP etc and utilities SSH, CURL etc Good Troubleshooting skills at PC, OS & Network level
    • Should be proficient with Command Center concepts and practices.
    • Good team player and be able communicate and coordinate well.
    • Should be ready to work in 24X7 environments.
    Roles and Responsibilities:(1.) To provide support for on call escalations and doing root cause analysis of given issue(2.) To independently resolve tickets within agreed SLA of ticket volume and time(3.) To adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements and company policies(4.) Work on value adding activities such Knowledge base update and management, Training freshers, coaching analysts(5.) To ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through First Call Resolution and minimum rejected resolutions or Reopen Cases(6.) Team handling skills for candidates having 4+ years of experience.
