  • Proven, expert-level experience in developing database applications using Oracle PL/SQL.
  • Demonstrable experience in a design role.
  • Experience of complex applications interacting with multiple systems, high volume and VLDB in the financial industry.
  • Preferred to have degree level education (computing, maths, science, or engineering).
  • Knowledge of another modern language, e.g. Java
  • At least 8 years of experience in similar or related role.
  • IT infrastructure and development.
  • Engineering and software architecture design.
  • Business Analysis.
  • Tangible experience in data modelling data at scale and ideally with financial background.
  • Design patterns.
  • API architecture and Design.
  • Data quality and governance.
  • Data life cycle.
  • Database Security.
  • Oracle Exadata.
  • SQL.
  • Oracle Database 12c, RAC & Grid infrastructure.
  • UNIX / shell scripting / other scripting languages.
