It takes inventive minds with diverse backgrounds, skills and cultures to transform these potential into technologies, products and solutionsWhat you will learn and contribute toWe are seeking for an ambitious and top engaged department head for Radio Interface and Access Group in Bengaluru/India. The candidate will lead team of simulation specialists who are responsible to conduct performance analyses and link/system simulations for current and next-generation mobile wireless networks, including radio access network algorithms, architecture, and emerging technologies and new vertical markets.Your skills and experience
• Strong background in 5G or LTE is a prerequisite
• Strong leadership background, either with projects or line management
• Experience with advanced system and/or link level simulations, and the associated steps from modeling, implementation, execution of simulations, results analysis, and to the final step of communication of performance results
• Experience in software development in large multiuser software development projects and related tools
• Excellent guide and coach capabilities. Getting a kick out of helping excellent people to become even more successful.
• High self-esteem/self-value to be able to challenge and to let expertise in team steer decision making, but with high technical intuition to cut through nonsense and do prioritization
• Must adopt quickly to new conditions and actively manage changes
• Ability to handle set-backs
• Strong results orientation
• Fluent spoken and written English skills
• MSc or PhD preferably from the field of telecommunications but also other fields like electronics, computer science, mathematics or physics are considered
