It may not be for every role, and, as part of the recruitment process, you ll have the chance to discuss smart working and how it might work for the job you are applying for.About this roleEngineering role with hands on software design and delivery.Design, orchestrate and own business functionalities in a transactional, Java open source-based order fulfilment system.Communicate and collaborate across multiple disciplines and stakeholdersTest driven development -design and implementation.Evaluate how system is functioning in broader scheme of things.Align to dev-ops paradigm. Support system function in test and production.Ensure that projects meet timeline and budget requirementsBe a Team player ensures delivery on committed time.Youll have the following responsibilitiesAct as front door to gather requirements for Orchestration/fulfilment system.Impact Assessment of new requirements and be able to provide ROMAbility to articulate the requirement to technical leads and deliveryCreated design delivery plan and communicate deadlines to ensure designs were completed on time.Used critical thinking to break down problems, evaluate solutions and make decisions.Produce Low Level Design documents including UML diagrams and data mapping.Design assurance of Low level & End to End design artefacts.Feasibility study of various architecture options and get it reviewed with Enterprise and Technical architects.Design presentations to various stake holders such as Product line, Process designers, Technical Architects, Enterprise Architect, Solution designers, Testing, Developers & Technical Dev leads.Participate in continuous improvement by generating suggestions, engaging in problem-solving activities to support teamwork.Drive operational improvements which resulted in savings and improve profit margins.Ability to co-operate with all stake holders (CTIO/E2E design/Component design/Inlife) to identify areas of concern and ascertain reliable methods for remediation.Demonstrated respect, friendliness and willingness to help wherever needed.Youll have the following skills & experienceOverall Technical Skills and ExperienceTelecom domain knowledgeUML Modelling, BPA, BPMN, EA, RSA etc.Clear understanding of eTOMTOGAF certification will be added qualificationTMF certification will be added qualificationAgile frameworkDevops modelAbout BTBT has a key role in British society, fostering change and leading technology innovation.
