An MNC in data center business is hiring a Director Business Development to focus on new Logos in the data center space. The ideal candidate will possess both product sales and technical background that enables him or her to engage directly with the customers; should be a self-starter prepared to develop and execute hunting plans to meet business objectives; expected to have the knowledge and capability to collect, understand and debate technical and commercial aspects with clients.Position : Director Business DevelopmentLocation : BengaluruReporting Manager - VP Sales & MarketingMain Responsibilities:- Interacting with CXOs and their directors to pitch the companys product portfolio and generate leads.- Qualify and mature the lead and then work along with Account team to win the deal- Develop and execute a comprehensive BizDev plan to meet and exceed business objectives.- Engage in productive discussions, translate customer requirements/issues into business problems and liaison internally to resolve these issues & convert them into business - Focus primarily on new Data Centers of Bangalore and Noida.- Key customer base will be IT/ITeS, BFSI , Cloud players and Semiconductors- Key focus on Qualifying Leads in the designated markets- Have technical ability to explain (not implement) solutions/offerings/Services- Work with potential customers to qualify opportunities & work with the solutions team to create an optimized solution- Lead and facilitate customer discussions to convince on value proposition and positioning of the services.Exp/Skills :- Preferable BE with MBA- 15+ years of experience in roles selling IT services or products in the past- Ideal candidates should also have experience of man management. However ,This role currently is an IC role.- A detail orientation, ability to prioritize work and clearly communicate- Aware of the Data centre/Colocation business- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills- Independent, flexible and dedicated,
