Job Description

About the role The role is Head of Strategy & New Business Initiatives charter, the services company of the group. This is a pivotal role in devising & executing the transformation charter for the services business of the group. The role is responsible for crafting strategy, seeding new capabilities & scaling up before handing over to the core- operations About the Team Key Responsibilities: 1. Strategy Formulation Services are evolving as one of the strategic moats for Company. The leader is expected to craft strategy for services; based on internal & external benchmarking, align on choices of growth & work with cross-functional teams in strategy to execution 2. Lead Transformation charter Jeevess competitive edge in the market is pivoted on a mix of new capabilities & technology led transformation. The leader is expected to anchor key new business initiatives, lead a cross functional team/POD to incubate transformation pilots, launch & execute new initiatives, working with internal/external partners to enable transformation journey of Jeeves-F1 3. Own new Initiatives pilot launch & ExecutionDifferentiation is a key theme for Jeeves-F1; The leader is expected to own this theme, incubate new capabilities, find product-market fit & scale capabilities; On demand service is one of the examples of new capability which will be led by this leader 4. Role of Chief of Staff As Jeeves-F1 Chief of Staff, the leader is expected to shape Jeeves-F1 narrative for external/internal forums; In addition, the leader is expected to work closely with Head of Jeeves, to shape org., culture, internal/external engagement to help Jeeves deliver its charter 5. Jeeves Internal & External Stakeholders mobilization As Jeeves-F1 Chief of Staff, the leader is expected to influence internal & external stakeholders for partnership, alignment & collaboration in multiple charters 6. Team Management: Leader is expected to coach, mentor & groom her team member; In addition, she is expected to be a role model for cross-functional teams as many of the projects will be delivered in collaboration with partner teams Mandatory Skills: - Platform Thinking: Able to think about business as a platform where external users are leveraged to create value for the customers- Stakeholder Management: The role provides opportunity to work across teams withinCompany such as product, engineering, analytics, categories, supply chain, operations, design- Strategic Formulation: Strategic thinking is key for this role; The leaders needs to think strategically & groom the same in teams & other leaders - Execution excellence- Bias for action, taking stretch goals & accountability are critical esp. In piloting new ideas & scaling them What youll need:- Educational background -MBA from the top institute, 15+ years of experience. - Strong understanding of technology and business - Knowledge of Internet, Retail, the consumer goods industry is a plus - - Desire and ability to think like the customer - - Ability to translate strategies into execution plans and take them to completion - Highly analytical and detail-oriented - - Excellent verbal and written communication with interpersonal skills - Ability to connect with people across teams & levels - Strong bias for Action- Company works at a very rapid pace,
