Job Description

    Education: BE/ MCA in Electronics / Computer science Experience: 6 to 8 years of experience in automotive embedded SW dev of HMI applications for IVI / telematics units/digital cluster and release management Android Developer Truck App Portal Roles and Responsibilities: Analyse customer and internal requirements & specifications; translates these into software designs Design and Develop technical solutions for connectivity usecases Define interfaces with the Cloud/Backend services to realise the connectivity features Design, develop and maintain components and services for App Management and Device Management Understand existing components; to be able to add features or provide bug fixes Actively interact with scrum master on the task on daily basisTechnical Skills: Android Automotive OS with AOSP customization know-how Android App development Basic knowledge of networking, application/message protocols and IPC mechanisms Java/Kotlin, C++, Python(basics) Tools: Git, JIRA, Jenkins, Confluence, JFrog Build systems: Soong, MakePersonal skills: Proficiency in problem solving and troubleshooting technical issues Excellent organizational, time management, prioritization and multi-tasking skills Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Personal initiative, commitment, perseverance and resilience Well-developed communication and teamwork skills, *At Daimler Trucks - Driver Experience , you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about building best in-class products for digital cockpit Instrument clusters and infotainment units.
