Job Description

Job Specification:

  • 10 + 2 + 3 (Any regular graduation)
  • experienced in Casper Management suite including Casper Admin, Casper Imaging, Casper Composer, Mac portables and OSX
  • Understands software deployment processes (JAMF administration / absolute Manage - OS/Security patches - Mac OS X build process - System maintenance)
  • JAMF Certified Casper Administrator (CCA) - or - JAMF Certified Casper Technician(CCT)
  • In depth knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP and NIS
  • Understanding of Apple Push Notification Services (APNS)
  • Software/Hardware requirements: Apple OSX, Mac portable, Casper Management Suite, Casper Admin, Casper Composer, Casper Imaging, Casper Self-service, File Vault, Mac App store, bash & shell Scripting
  • Experience with networking topologies and protocols
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and monitoring tools, techniques, and technologies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, OneNote, OneDrive (Mac versions)
  • Proficient in shell scripting / Ability to write Apps in Xcode
  • Experience with multi-platform computing (Windows/Linux/Mac) SCCM 2007/2012 CB at least 1 Software Distribution tool
  • Experience deploying/imaging Mac hosts
Flexible to work on 24X7 basis, Ability to write the process / ITSM Documents and KBs, Job Descriptions :
  • Responsible for day-to-day administration, maintenance, and operations of the OS X infrastructure
  • Maintains desktop/laptop infrastructure, including resolving hardware issues and installing patches and updates
  • Maintains Mac deployment infrastructure worldwide
  • Troubleshoots desktop/laptop and network issues
  • Participates in the Mac Desktop and Development Labs Team meetings
  • Automate using scripting and enhancing / re-engineering processes to gain efficiencies
  • Maintains Self Service repository for OS X software titles
  • Provides escalation support to Help Desk Mac staff as well as support for OS X configuration issues
  • Resolve problems, providing long-term problem resolution
  • Transfers knowledge and skills to other members of the IT team including Front Line
  • Creates/ Enhances Knowledge Base /Enhances and shares documentation of systems and processes
  • Provides best practice of system administration to improve support model
  • Package and deploy software to desktop through Casper and other tools
  • Package QA testing
  • Desktop hardening through security best practices and penetration testing
  • Assist in the triage of help desk tickets that require engineering input
  • Support the Macintosh from a tier 3 engineering perspective by providing in-depth troubleshooting and resolutions with clear documentation
