Job Description

Job DescriptionResponsibilities:

  • Development of test concept, test strategy, test architecture and test framework
  • Development of test automation scripts according to current state of technology and science
  • Process ownership for complete test automation area and test process improvement activities
  • Development of test procedures of new test areas and support in development of test concepts and test plans
  • Design, Review & Execution of Test cases/Test Scripts and Test Reporting
Mandatory Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Android Architecture is mandatory
  • Understanding of Google Test Suites (CTS/VTS) and ability to create new Test suites and adapt the same
  • Understanding of G-Test is mandatory ( for adding new TCs or adapting existing TCs)
  • Good understanding of Automotive Infotainment domain (preferred - using Android or Linux OS)
  • Product Testing Car Infotainment. White box testing, Black box testing, Grey box testing, Test Automation (Preferred Android based IVI)
  • Good programming and debugging skills
  • Programming experience in C++, JavaScript, Bash, Python and Groovy
  • Familiarity with Appium, UIAutomator, Eclipse and VS code
  • Exposure to Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI / CD) workflow
  • Testing experience in Car Infotainment features like HMI, Speech, SPI, Tuner, Media, Networking (CAN, Ethernet) (Desired)
  • Experience in usage and automated controlling of Test and measuring equipments (Programmable power supply, Digital Multi-meter , NI-DAQ etc )
  • Knowledge of tools like DOORS, GIT/GERRIT, Eclipse, JIRA, RQM, RTC, Grafana
  • Experience in preparation and execution of test strategy, test plan and test specifications
  • Excellent problem solving skills with good experience on using system analysis and profiling tools for debugging and performance optimizations
  • Self-motivated, independent performer, results driven individual, passionate about technology
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills while working in multi-site environment
  • Well organized, meticulous and good at understanding of the big picture.
  • Strong team player with ability to handle multiple projects
  • Testing certifications would be an added advantage
