We re looking to expand our core team with passionate individuals who love exploring the possibilities of technology and language simultaneously, and have the grit to see their ideas through to execution.The role of an Educational Specialist for Mindspark English can be divided into four components, namely creation, review, coordination and research. Explaining in greater detail 1. Creating engaging content for Mindspark English, which includes- 2. Reviewing content created for Mindspark English, focusing on - 3. Coordination and collaboration 4. Researching on language acquisition/teaching methodologies Required Skills: Preferred Skills: Engrossing passages for reading and listeningQuestions that test and teach comprehension, grammar and vocabularyGames and interactives that focus on language concepts in a pedagogically sound but convivial mannerQuality of the question (concept tested, grade appropriateness, phrasing)Strength of the distractorsSyntactical/semantic errorsWith IT members on developing features for Mindspark and resolving issuesWith freelancers on content development targetsWith schools to gain insights on product enhancementsWith other Educational Specialists for improving Mindspark EnglishThrough reading of academic journalsAnalysing data on questionsBy interacting with external subject expertsBy interacting with students and understanding how they thinkExcellent proofreadingBachelor s degree in linguistics/literature or related fieldsSome experience in language learning/teaching (preferably ESL)Ability to create and source engaging content for studentsAbility to critically analyse questions, assessments and various types of learning modulesBasic technological awareness (Windows functions, MS Office, email features)Sticking to tight schedules and effective workload managementSubject background in language learning, at a Masters level or aboveAbility to interact effectively with experts/teachers and source required professionalsKnowledge of MySQL and basic programming logicExperience in team leadership/collaboration,
