Cisco Intersight is a cloud-based system management platform for Cisco UCS (Unified Computing System), HyperFlex and other data center products. It provides a more intelligent level of management that enables IT organizations to analyze, simplify and automate their environments. It is driven by analytics and machine learning to provide actionable intelligence for IT operations management. Intersight Virtual Appliance is an on-premise solution that runs the Intersight capabilities in a Virtual Appliance.What will you do As an engineering manager, you have an opportunity to lead and work with some of the smartest engineers on the latest technologies in Cisco Intersight by working in close collaboration with peers in India and other geographies. Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to and be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and success of technical projects
• Provide technical expertise and leadership throughout product life cycles
• Work with business leaders, product managers and stakeholders to define product requirements and direction.
• Prioritize, communicate, maintain, and execute roadmaps, project plans, and commitments
• Influence best practices for your team and own operational metrics
• Work with engineers to define technical requirements and architect and execute best-in-class implementations in agile manner
• Hire, manage, mentor and grow a high-performance team of Software Engineer

Basic Qualifications

• BTech/MTech Degree or equivalent in Computer Science
• 7+ years of relevant engineering experience
• 3+ years of people management experience, managing engineers.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and organizational skills.
• Experience in partnering with product and program management teams
• Ability to solve complex technical problems and design robust, scalable solutions
• Ability to think critically and actively contribute to strategic choices.
• Strong skills in project planning & execution, problem solving. Ability to take a project from initial scoping requirements through actual launch and support of the project
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both technical and non-technical discussions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in on premises software & Infrastructure as a Service
• Experience of test driven development, software configuration management, automated testing, CI/CD
• Restful Web Services and APIs.
• Experience in recruiting and building teams.
