Accomplishes department objectives by managing staff; planning and evaluating department activities.Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.Ensures a safe, secure, and legal work environment.Develops personal growth opportunities.manage an estate - which may include a mixture of farm or rural land, commercial or residential buildings, care or hospital settingsmanage staff and any volunteersfoster a collaborative working approach, with internal or external staffmanage contractors employed for a specific purpose, such as tree surgeons or building services engineersorganise repairs and maintenanceproject-manage buildings and renovationsplan, commission and manage the work of contractorscarry out financial planning for a project and control the budgetredevelop a site, possibly for preparation for a different usedeal with contracts for various aspects of the estateoversee the development of the estate, to make sure its being effectively run to meet the estates objectives
