Come prepared to be inspired.Team DescriptionThe Supply Chain Quality Engineering Vision is to be a Cisco Trusted Partner within Supply Chain Operations ensuring Quality is a Competitive Advantage by driving End-to-End Quality Management and Improvement. As a member of the Supply Chain Quality Engineering (SCQE) team, the candidate will be assigned specific Cisco product technologies utilizing their expertise & background to deliver the root cause failure analysis that improve overall product quality.What Youll Do

• Manage Cisco s Root Cause of Hardware and Software Failure Analysis including evaluation of development life cycle failures on Nexus and Collaboration products.
• Manage quality issues to resolution through a fault isolation, root cause, and corrective action / preventative action (CAPA) process.
• Work with Technical Leads and Customer Support to understand and come up with the right solution to replicate customer issue.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, HW and SW Engineering in product design, and field management support to provide quality information and make recommendations.
• Be a forward thinker to eliminate, simplify and automate ways for us to prevent failures.
• Perform data analysis to detect subtle trends and identify root causes to drive continuous improvement activities and increase Customer Satisfaction.
• Support response and closure to Customer escalations.
• Software root cause analysis including evaluation of field failures and returns.
• Bug verification (emulate customer network topology).
• Defect detection including containment analysis.
• Opening SW bugs and working with engineering team to see it to closure.
• Mentoring and training EMS partners FA engineers.

Skills Requirements

• Hands-on experience in networking and knowledge of Cisco technologies Especially Nexus and Collaboration products.
• The ideal candidate should have a track record of success, a solid work ethic, a can-do attitude.
• Self-starter, high level of motivation and energy, proactive and requires little oversight.
• Possess creative problem-solving skills and excellent troubleshooting/debugging skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work & collaborate effectively with local and remote teams globally.
• Experienced in C, C++, Python, Perl, TCL, Shell scripting and Java.
• Experience in Unix/Linux/FreeBSD based environments.
• Clear understanding of ISOs OSI model and TCP/IP protocol suite.
• Understanding of Data Analytics and ML/AI.
• Excellent English communication skills, verbal and written skills.
• Must be a team player with good inter-personal skills.

Qualifications

• Typically requires BSEE/CS plus 5+ years related experience, or a MSEE/CS combined with 3+ years of related experience.
• Minimum of a 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals and software engineering with an aptitude for learning new technologies.
• Manufacturing or Customer support experience a plus with basic knowledge on process control, quality metrics.
• Cisco certifications like CCNA is desirable.
