• Role- Financial Analyst - Cost Accountant
• Location - Bangalore
• Exp- Min 6 Years

SUMMARY: Responsible for Cost & Management Accounting and Reporting of the Business as well as statutory compliances at site. Implements financial concepts for financial planning and control. Performs technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. Manages, prepares, administers and directs the control of the budget.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

• Ensure Standard Cost is set up correctly for each part and new product launch and actively involved in the stand cost roll up yearly as per BCFP guidelines.
• Estimating the Standard cost at the time of Quotation and actively involved in discussion with marketing team.
• Review of Open Production Orders and analysis of variance and closure of WIP Orders.
• Review and analysis of Ageing Inventory, In-transit Inventory and QC Clearance Inventory and play a vital role in Cycle Count and 100% verification of Stock Count.
• Perform Variance Analysis Actual vs Forecast on monthly basis.
• Identifying and Communicating actionable steps to address variance of PPV & MUV.
• Analysis of Over/under absorption indicating the root cause.
• Review of Scrap Process and ensure correct accounting of scrap on a monthly basis.
• Prepare and ensure the Budget for Manufacturing Site and Commercial Organization is submitted in timely manner
• Review of Excess and Obsolete reserve as per BCFP guidelines.
• Active discussion in review of Capital Budget and estimating ROI, NPV and IRR and overview of Fixed Asset Management.
• Monthly MIS of KPI for Bangalore Manufacturing and Commercial Organization.
• Develop and provide ad-hoc reports as required by the management.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures of the Company
• Improve processes and enhance controls.
• Ensuring month-end close as per timelines and in accordance with BCFP guidelines and US GAAP
• Detailed Ledger scrutiny and GL management on a monthly basis.
• Prepare and Review of EOU tax compliance at the Site

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Cost Accountant ICMA with 6+ year of experience and Strong experience in Manufacturing Finance. Experience in Oracle manufacturing will be an added advantage.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:

• Sound knowledge of the principles and practice of accounting, more specifically in a manufacturing set-up.
• Strong interpersonal / communication skills. Ability to multi-task and meet critical deadlines.
• Sound problem solving and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Pro-active by nature, must be able to take ownership and complete tasks independently.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast changing environment.
• Solutions based approach.
• Ability to use PCs and sophisticated software.
• Ability to audit production areas identifies non-compliance to requirements, and develop/oversee action plans for corrective action. In-depth understanding of accounting (standard cost).
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills required.
• Must understand and have ability to analyze market requirements and opportunities for product lines.
