*Client Connectivity Services is responsible for the global connectivity and order management of client electronic flow coming into Morgan Stanley. The team covers multiple asset classes including cash equity, listed derivatives and FX.We are a global team of highly skilled engineers from a wide range of backgrounds and experience levels. We are in search of the worlds foremost technologists to help us take our systems to the next level, with a broad range of engineering challenges for the right candidate. The position is for a C++ and FPGA developer within the Client Connectivity Services team. The candidate will be working with our global development team and other technology teams to drive and deliver FPGA based solutions and software solutions in order to maintain industry leadership and competitive advantage in the electronic trading space.The candidate should be a self-motivated, enthusiastic and flexible team player and will be expected to collaborate with teams in local and remote locations. Day-to-day work will include programming in C++ & verilog, code design/review sessions and testing.Prior experience must include programming in C++ on Linux, verilog, and ideally with experience in low latency trading systems. If you like to work as part of a great team, work on complex technical challenges, learn and develop new and exciting skills, then this role is for you., *Skills Required Experience working on FPGA systems - Verilog, VHDL, Vivado/Questa Experience working on C++ applications in a Linux environment. Appreciation of good hardware design, software architecture and computer science fundamentals. Working knowledge of agile and continuous integration/delivery principles. Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions independently. Good verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated and an interest to learn.Skills Desired Experience working on electronic trading systems. Knowledge of FIX protocol. Shell scripting / Python experience. Low Latency trading systems.
