Their primary objective is to develop, own and implement a technical strategy that builds senior level technical relationships which will ultimately lead to the positioning of VERITAS as a key strategic alliance partner to the GSP. A successful GTAM will: Articulate and evangelize the VERITAS portfolio and vision to promote the awareness and strategic acceptance of VERITAS within the GSP Identify key technical contacts and own those relationships Understand the partner s business drivers and identify which are aligned with our VERITAS Value Develop specific use cases to address key business requirementsA GTAM will actively seek and develop new business initiatives within the alliance, focusing on where competitors are week and there is a good fit for VERITAS capabilities. They will also build the Technical Account Plan in conjunction with their supported GAM(s) aligned with the partner s business goals for the identified initiatives. Additionally, they will articulate complete solutions for the GSP s key business requirements from an IT perspective and coordinate appropriate resources to drive opportunities, and provide coordination and support to critical business functions such as consulting, education, support and marketing.
