Job Description

Minimum of 5 Years of working experience as an Oracle DB
Understands Oracle, RAC, data replication and high availability technologies such as RAC, DataGuard, GoldenGate
Understands Linux and Windows operating systems
Experience in the following areas
Data Modeling and Database Design
Can write DDL/DML for creating database objects (tables, indexes, partitions etc.)
Can write PL/SQL codes (database procedures, functions and triggers etc.)
Can perform database application performance baselining and testing
Knows Oracle encryption technology such as TDE
Knows scripting language such as shell and/or Python
Performed Database Performance Tuning including system level and query tuning
Can run diagnostic reports and analyze the findings
Database migration experience
Can assist developers with database activities
Can work client facing

Desired Skills and Qualifications

Must have extensive knowledge ORACLE APPS DBA and SYSTEM DBA skills
Must have a good understanding of Oracle Database 11g/12C/19c
Good understanding and experience in administering Oracle databases in a UNIX or LINUX environment.
Must have a knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL and Shell/Perl scripting
Must have experience in handling very large OLTP production databases support,
Must have troubleshooting experience in Performance Tunning.

Nice to have skills:

Must have strong team bonding skills
Strong Client handling experience.
Must have the ability to think logically and design applications
Oracle Cloud DBaaS/PaaS
