HR Business Partner Employee ServicesAmazon s HR Organization seeking a flexible, adaptive HR Business Partner to provide hands-on organizational support for the India Employee Services organization. Employee Services is an organization focused on providing HR solutions to meet the needs of Amazon s widespread and growing workforce. They bring customer obsession to our internal customers with the goal to create a frustration-free employee experience for all employees. Through their global contact center footprint they offer high quality Employee services throughout the employment lifecycle, such as onboarding, leave of absence, accommodations, and internal transfer support as well as guidance on HR risk and legal compliance. Amazon is looking for an HR Business Partner for our India-Bangalore team who will demonstrate business acumen, be driven by developing top talent, and be innovative in his or her thinking about how to support the organization experiencing high growth.In this role you will apply business knowledge to inform and drive the short and long term talent management plan and priorities for the Employee Services HR team. You will partner with HR colleagues, Talent Acquisition and the HR Leadership Development Team to develop and execute plans and planning activities to develop talent and support organizational growth and capability. You will demonstrate analytical capabilities and be able to influence with data-driven recommendations. Amazon is looking for a business partner who has the ability to proactively plan and design, as well as identify and diagnose issues in order to drive solutions and deliver results. The role is critical in executing people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR strategic excellence and process improvement.Responsibilities: Foster Amazons customer-centric culture through partnering with operations leaders to build and foster a culture of associate engagement, customer centricity and ownership Use influence and coaching skills to cultivate a culture that reflects the values and principles of the organization Assess leadership and employee development training needs and conduct 1:1 and/or group training sessions as appropriate Being an enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment Review and analyze business data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve employee experience, performance, and retention Partner with the business to lead both annual and mid-year review processes which focus on performance management and talent development. Effectively engage, partner and consult with recruiting partners to meet the talent acquisition needs for the organization; support the continued development talent assessment skills within the organization - ensuring a commitment to finding, growing and retaining talent Assess leadership and employee development training needs and provide solutions as appropriate Provide leadership, work collaboratively with cross-functional global teams, and consult effectively and independently with all levels across the organization Provide compensation support including salary planning, approval of salary actions, promotions and job re-leveling, Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in an HR business partner role (mandatory HRBP experience) within an international fast paced customer driven environment working with stakeholders/client groups in a shared services global operations setting University Degree Required Experience in managing escalations effectively Ability to work across shifts Effective communication skills - written, verbal and listening skills People empathy, consulting and coaching skills Excellent presentation skills and experience delivering training Possesses intellectual curiosity; brings insight into the team/business, especially in a multicultural and multi-location environment Willingness and ability to travel Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy and goals into optimal HR processes that are scalable, simple, customer-focused and adaptable to unique and changing business needs Able to manage tasks, with minimal oversight and thrive in a fast-paced, frugal environment with multiple and sometimes changing priorities Ability to influence and coach employees at all levels in the organization, change thinking, or gain acceptance from others in sensitive situations without damaging relationships Preferred Qualifications: Master Degree preferred Ability to craft and analyze data to influence decision-making Ability to provide leadership, work collaboratively on cross-functional teams, and consult effectively and independently with all levels and functional areas of an organization Commitment to continuous process improvement in people strategies and initiatives Ability to thrive in a fast paced and ambiguous environment
