  • Job Requirements :
      • Key Responsibilities : A Provision database instances, both in clustered and non-clustered configurationsB Ensure performance, security, and availability of databasesC Managing the database storage structuresD Prepare documentations and specificationsE Proactively monitoring the databases health and taking preventive or corrective action as requiredF Handle common database procedures, such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migrationG Profile server resource usage, optimize and tweak as necessary
      • Technical Experience : A Should have 5 to 7 years experience Strong proficiency in DB2 database managementB Decent experience with recent versions of DB2C Installing Oracle Software and Creating databaseD Performing upgrades of the database and software to new release levelsE DDL, DML, DCL, partitioning on DB2F Set up performance or tuning monitoring for DB2G Database monitoring and alertsH Improve database availability and uptime by ensuring the appropriate monitoring and alerting configurations
      • Professional Attributes : Good verbal and written communication skills to connect with customers at varying levels of the organization Ability to operate independently and make decisions with little direct supervision
      • Educational Qualification : BE
