Infrastructure ConsultantPosting Location : Location CO-RemotePosting date 13 hours ago(12/27/2021 11:11 AM)Job ID 92890 Workday ID R-020135 Category Consulting About the job The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for an Infrastructure Consultant to join us in Colombia. In this role, you will need to demonstrate expert-level technical abilities while working as an infrastructure developer. You ll join a team of consultants who work with Red Hats strategic customers and start sharing your knowledge of real-world best practices and technical knowledge with your junior colleagues to help them solve complex challenges. You ll serve as a quality assurance (QA) analyst for the other consultants on your team and among partners. What you will do

  • Provide guidance to junior consultants in order to achieve goals
  • Help with the implementation of different projects based on the technologies described in the required skills section
  • Develop applications, if needed, based on the required languages described in the required skills section
  • Implement corrective plans among different projects
  • Create and provide guidelines in order to establish the systems architecture for each project that requires it
  • Generate improvement proposals for different projects
  • Provide back, middle, and front support during the different implementation phases of the software development projects
  • Serve as a full stack developer mentor
What you will bring
  • 4+ years of experience working as an implementation consultant, full stack developer, or relevant work experience
  • Experience developing cloud applications
  • Expertise in the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), the Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN), the Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF), the Rational Unified Process (RUP), and agile methodologies
  • Experience developing with Java, Python, C+, Scala, and Pascal
  • Experience designing systems infrastructures and implementing software containers
  • Experience in any version of the Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
  • Experience using PostgreSQL, Oracle RAC, and Sybase databases
  • Knowledge working in MongoDB
  • Proficient verbal and written English language skills; upper-intermediate reading skills in English Expertise in implementation of Red Hat s platform solutions like Red Hat OpenStack Platform, Red Hat Satellite, Red Hat Gluster Storage, Red Hat Storage, Red Hat Cloud Suite, and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform
  • Expertise in DevOps data grid is a plus
