Responsible for the design, development, testing, integration, operation and support infrastructure services that meet stated business requirements and adhere to coding best practices and architecture standards. Understanding cloud, virtualization, APIs, and modern software languages Fully analyzes problems, design, develop and test the code. Plan, track and manage the proper use of technology infrastructure to optimize delivery and cost Acts independently and leverages critical thinking Proficient in multiple business disciplines/functions. Management and Customer Escalations within or outside of service tower Advocates for customer base when faced with Infrastructure or Business Critical issues Responsible for coaching and mentoring less experienced team members Be part of the rotational support coverage as needed Develops a mindset for risk and control compliance to departmental and companywide standards Prior experience in Resiliency and Business Continuity Planning. Software development experience in Python programming language Experience of agile development practicesQualification: 9 to 15 years experienced in UNIX Administration, Hands-on in Ansible / Python coding and good communication to partner with Banking customers.SKILLS:In-depth Knowledge of infrastructure and expert knowledge of RHEL 6/7/8 Domain Expert of the Infrastructure supported and interdependencies SME technical skills in Linux - Experience in server hardware (Linux, IBM POWER, HP ProLiant, X86 Dell and Cisco UCS Blades) Modern compute technologies (e.g., virtualization tech stack like Power VM, ESX, cloud) Strong understanding of infrastructure components and how they are tracked and managed in various systems Experience in large scale software development in one or more of the programming languages (Python, Perl, Shell, C, C++ etc.) Experience in end-to-end systems automation and orchestration Excellent understanding and experience of TDD, DevOps and CI/CD to achieve seamless one click delivery Participate in code reviews and ensure all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications Prior experience in both Systems Administration and Systems Engineering Familiar with Agile development process and automated testing Familiar with Agile development process (Devops, Ansible, JIRA, Jules) and automated testing Experience on SDLC, CI/CD, Bitbucket, GitHub, Cucumber, Jenkins and REST APIs Experience with Configuration Management tool like Ansible / Puppet / Chef / PowerShell,
