Job Description

    Are you interested in developing and enhacing your career in Cloud Would you like to be part of a Hybrid cloud product content development teams leveraging LOpenshift and Linux Open source Do you intend to build up a reputated products catering the needs of Hybrid Cloud Would you like to colloborate with iBM, Redhat and Open source communities and developers in generate the Content for community of developers leveraging Linux on Z, Openshift platform on Enterprise Servers If so, our team is the right place for you!As a Interation Manager, you will be responsible in guiding and supporting the development team in delivering OpenShift addons supporting LINUXONE & Z systems.
    • Work collaboratively with product/channel owners and the engineering team
    • Ensures Agile ceremonies are organised, and facilitated well ( Daily Standup/Scrum, Story Kickoffs, Retrospectives Showcases/Sprint Review Iteration / Release or release Planning )
    • coach team members to be self-sustaining and organise all of the above ceremonies
    • Ensures that any follow up actions resulting from ceremonies are completed.
    • Ensures that Stories have been estimated by the team and prioritise the estimated Stories in current and next Iteration
    • Track the estimates and the Identify the release/project planning and reporting.
    • Participated in the Product Backlog Refining meeting with Product Owner, Manager and scrum teams.
    • Prioritising backlog by working closely with the Project Manager and Project Owner.
    • Ensures that the team regularly updates their own Story Card status
    • Shields the team from external distractions and interferences to focus on project delivery take assistance of Project Manager & Product Owner
    • Ownership of obstacles and blockers/impediments blocking the project team s progress and use of continuous improvement techniques to remove bottlenecks in the delivery process (or escalate to the Project Manager where appropriate).
    • Keep the Project Manager/ Product Owner informed about impacts to Scope and Time generate Burndown and Burn-up charts.
    • Lead and coach the teams on agile techniques and practices
    • Facilitate workshops in agile best practices
    Required Technical and Professional Expertise
    • 7 10 years as an Agile Delivery Lead, IT Iteration Manager or Scrum Master
    • Proven experience across end to end projects using Agile/Scrum project management methodologies
    • Strong experience in working with Linux and Redhat based product/projects teams
    • Hands on experience with Github, JIRA, Mural.
    • Strong Colloboration skills (Experience in working with Global and extended teams)
    • Understanding code testability, experience in build pipelines and DevOps (CI/CD systems)
    • Negotiate quality, detail, scope or deadlines as per customer directions and priorities
    • Comfortable resolving conflict and to facilitate discussion on alternative approaches
    • Thorough understanding of IT along with an understanding of the elements of iterative and incremental delivery
    • Experience in gradually rebuilding/redesigning existing products on top of entirely new cloud services and new architecture
    • Strong analytical, investigative and troubleshooting skills
    • Good understanding of Linux, Opensource products, Openshift Virtualization and knowledge of Virtualization features across the stack.
    Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
    • Scrum Certifications or Certified SAFe Agilist.
    • Good understanding of Linux, Opensource products, Openshift Virtualization and knowledge of Virtualization features across the stack.
