Job Description

    Azure+ SnowFlake+ Spark+ Databricks ProgrammerIn this role, we are looking for B.E./ Masters in Computer Science, Information systems, or Computer engineering with prior experience as Azure Databricks, Python, Pyspark developer and should have worked on Azure implementations using the Pyspark technology. Responsibilities
    • To work in capacity of Azure Databricks, Snowflake, Pyspark developer
    • Work with stakeholders for regular updates, requirement understanding and design discussions.
    • Hands-on experience on designing and developing scripts for custom ETL processes and automation in Azure data factory, Azure databricks, Snowflake, Pyspark etc.
    • Experience in Data Warehousing & Snowflake Computing platform
    • Excellent communication skills is a must
    • Should be skilled in creating architecture and design documentation and knowledge of data engineering tools & technologies
    • Expertise with SnowSQL, advanced concepts (query performance tuning, time travel etc.) and features/tools (data sharing, events, SnowPipe etc.)
    • Hands on experience with Snowflake
      • Snowflake setup
      • SnowSQL Development
    • Snowflake Certification / Azure Certification preferred-Good to have
    • Expertise in Cloud related Big Data integration and infrastructure techstack using Azure Databricks & Apache Spark framework
    • Well versed with Data Orchestration/ETL tools like Streamsets.
    • Good SQL/PL SQL programming Skills writing complex procedures and queries for Dataframes and Notebooks
    • Very good data engineering mindset to build, maintain pipelines, and ability to closely monitor critical pipeline batch jobs and resolve failures on urgent basis.
    Qualifications/Minimum qualifications
    • B.E./ Masters in Computer Science, Information systems, or Computer engineering, Systems Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience
    Good to have skills:
    • Ability to Developing ETL pipelines in and out of data warehouse using combination of Python and Snowflakes SnowSQL Writing SQL queries against Snowflake.The ability and desire to learn and adapt in complex work environment
    • Knowledge of other scripting languages such as Scala, Java Script etc.,
    • Knowledge of other Data Orchestration/ETL tools - Alteryx, Trifacta etc.,
    • Knowledge of any of BI Tools - Jethro, Power BI
    • Domain understanding in Sales & Marketing, Asset Management domains.
