Job Description POSITION TITLE: Lead Software ArchitectREPORTING TO: Associate Director/ Senior ManagerWORKING LOCATION: Bangalore, IndiaOVERALL OBJECTIVES: Eurofins Genomics One IT Program require a Lead Software Architect to take technical ownership of all Dot Net Applications of the Program and drive it forward on Development, Integration, Deployment, Automation, Maintenance, Performance, Security, Architecture best practices etc. Work with multiple projects/ teams on problems that require broad architectural thinking, technical design of systems and services Explore benefits of cross- project alignment, provide mentoring within teams and provide leadership to other architect in the team Participate in evaluation of integration needs and existing application of the acquired company at the time of acquisitions SKILLS REQUIRED: Lead technical architect needs following specific technical skills, essential skills and some desirable skills. Net, MVC, WML, web services, windows services or message oriented middleware, JQuery, HTML, Angular, Knockout JS, JavaScript Framework) along with Unit testing Framework preferable NUnit C#, MS SQL Server, Restful Services(Web API or WCF) ORM(Entity Framework or preferably NHibernate) Content Management System tools preferably Umbraco WPF, MVVM, WCF WWF, Nhibernate, ActiveMQ, PRISM will be an added advantage Object Oriented Design, software design patterns In use of design tools like Enterprise Architect, UML, Visio, etc. Unit testing, Mock frameworks Performance/ memory analysis and n- tier architecture Defining and setting up of CI/ CD pipeline SKILL CATEGORY 7: Process/ MethodologiesDESCRIPTION: Demonstrable working knowledge of at least one Agile methodology, Coding/ Development practices, Standards & CompliancesSKILL LEVEL: PractitionerWHAT THE SKILL LEVEL MEANS: Agile, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, AP, Spotify Squad/ Tribe Test- driven development GXP CMMi, TOGAF SKILL CATEGORY 8: New/ Upcoming TechnologiesDESCRIPTION: Cloud, Microservices Architecture, No SQL & In memory DBSKILL LEVEL: ProficientWHAT THE SKILL LEVEL MEANS: Azure, AWS Dot Net Core based MongoDB, Redis Note: The candidate must be prepared to be challenged on any required capabilities during interviewsQualifications Graduation in Computer Science or any other equivalent degree.,
