You can take pride in the fact that you are giving back to society by working on devices that help save lives and keep us healthy.Lecia MicroSystems is looking for as a Lead Software engineer to join the software development team responsible for developing software applications for Digital Microscope imaging for Microsurgery (Neuro) and Ophthalmology.YourResponsibilities:

• Working closely with the Product Owner to build new application features for the iOS and Android platforms.
• Deploy new and updated applications
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of mobile applications.
• Translate software requirements into module designs and specifications

• Develop software modules and automated unit tests
• Draw conclusions for the software architecture and implementation based on our platform architecture
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Support regulatory affairs team in the medical device documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the product meets performance, scalability, and reliability goals
• A thorough understanding of engineering (or software) development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes &Unit testing
• Technical knowledge and experience, ideally in areas of software development for clinical and medical device development would be an advantage
• A proven team player and problem solver with the ability to work collaboratively to brainstorm, uncover key issues, troubleshoot, and recommend/implement solutions
• Highly Desirable: Experience working on medical applications or other highly regulated application domains
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities are required.
• Ability to establish solid business relationships and work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
• Excellent written communication , and social skills, with meticulous attention to detail that extends beyond written and verbal communication.

Our Expectations:

• Bachelors of Engineering or Masters in Software Engineering or Masters in Computer Applications or equivalent
• 6+ years of experience inmobile applicationsdevelopmenteither on Android or iOS platformsusingeither native or Hybrid technologies.
• Excellent programming skills in C#, Dot Net platform, Xamarin

• Shouldhave a goodunderstandingofembedding Mobile devicefeatureswithinthe App such aslocalstorage / Camera / Geolocation tracking / Authentication etc.
• Strongunderstandingof OOPS, Data structures,computationalcomplexity, Designpatterns.
• Team Player with focussed, goal-oriented and self-dependent working attitude
• Extremely strong problem-solving skills
• Fluent in verbal and written English

• Abilitytodeliver in high performance,results-oriented and, time-boundenvironment

Desired

• Knowledge of Dot Net MAUI (Multi-platform App UI)
• Experience in Agilesoftwaredevelopmentprocess

• Experience in Regulated Medical Device software development, knowledge relevant standards
