Job Description

    • Lead the complete portfolio of Supplier Quality Assurance that includes planning and conducting supplier audits, managing supplier Quality agreements, issue resolution and troubleshooting to assure procurements meet the requirements
    • Conduct programs designed to improve supplier performance (quality and delivery), productivity, and process validation
    • Establish procedure and system for handling, investigating and assessing the deviations/ complaints reported for suppliers and supplied materials
    • Identify and document the risks associated with suppliers in the risk register, support the development of Corrective Action Preventive Action plans and follow-up for the timely closure
    • Act as a Single point contact for preparation and review of supplier quality agreements, and supplier qualification for GMP requirements
    • Coordinate and monitor the supplier quality and compliance activities to ensure that current regulatory expectations are met and facilitates internal and regulatory GMP inspections
    • Build strategy for pre or post verification of certificate of analysis / any other checks for each material prior to or post receipt considering the criticality of the material.
    • Develop the supplier quality and performance management framework with robust controls for governance and data-driven reporting periodically
    • Conduct periodic review and revamp of SOPs, manuals, checklists, and procedures relevant to supplier qualification, quality and performance, and revise them for effective working
    • Drive the upskilling programs for suppliers and internal stakeholders to impart comprehensive understanding on GMP and regulatory requirements
    • Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety.
    • Ensure environment, health, and safety (EHS) measures are imparted via training and adhered within the team.
