Job Description

Job Title: License Compliance Sales Consultant PTC (NASDAQ: PTC) is a rapidly growing Global software company that delivers a technology platform and solutions to help companies design, manufacture, operate and service things for a smart, connected world. Learn more about PTC on https://www.ptc.com/en/about As a part of the PTC License Compliance team, the License Compliance Sales Consultant will be responsible for the software license compliance sales at SMB segment from an assigned territory. This vibrant and dynamic role entails working closely with internal teams, third-party audit/law firms and customers to determine if the PTC customer is in compliance with the terms and conditions of its PTC End User Agreement(s), licensing, and business practices. The License Compliance Sales Consultant interfaces with customers to resolve compliance issues and ensures proper compensation to PTC while preserving the customer relationship. The role is demanding, involving multiple stakeholders, and requires negotiations, sound judgment, critical thinking, superior analytical skills, a service-oriented demeanour, project management skills, process improvement capabilities, refined communication skills, and precise attention to detail. The role also requires working closely with Regional / International teams. Primary Responsibilities

  • LC Sales Consultants are responsible for meeting and exceeding a quarterly and annual LC sales quota from the assigned territory & Segment
  • Obtain a thorough understanding of PTC products, market and business environment
  • Work with the PTC resellers to identify the LC opportunities & Uses PTC LC analytics tools and databases to search for prospects to maintain a consistent pipeline of engagements and reviews to achieve quarterly goals
  • Interpret complex license and maintenance agreements
  • Analyse customer license purchase records & deployments
  • Determine scope of engagements / reviews (Warning Letters, Legal letters, Self-Assessment, Audits, Third party Audits, etc)
  • Initiate the communication with customer
  • Co-ordinate with Legal, Third Party Consultants / Law Firms for escalations.
  • Close engagements ensuring proper compensation to PTC while preserving customer and field relationships
  • Update the weekly & monthly MIS reporting requirements
  • Participate in projects to document and improve processes and add to the licensing knowledgebase
Primary Qualifications A strong, confident and assertive demeanour with a proven track record of exceeding goalsDegree / Post Graduate degree in Business Administration, Law, Economics, or Finance required The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2-4 years of experience from software license sales, Compliance salesUnderstanding of software license agreements and proven ability to comprehend and interpret complex licensing issues Experience in complex negotiations & High level of independence and resilienceExceptional presentation, written and verbal communication skills required; experience working with C-level personnelMastered organizational and project management capabilitiesStrong analytical, research and problem solving skills required; attentiveness to detail.Ability to work independently in a dynamic fast-paced environmentProficiency using Excel, PowerPoint, Word and SharePoint,
