Job Description

Roles and ResponsibilitiesOverview of PositionWe are seeking a world-class Machine Learning Architect to build Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning and solutions for analytics and data products, which enables customers to generate timely, high powered insights. This Architect must have deep knowledge for AI/MLand proven ability to help drive new generation of data and machine learning-enabled services and products to impact the healthcare system. He/she will be a thought leader in engineering, technology, and platform architecture. This will be done through innovation and collaboration with engineering teams and related business functions. This is a critical, highly visible and strategic leadership role within the company that has the potential to drive significant business impact.The scope of this role will include technical leadership in the development and delivery of Big Data Analytics and Data Cloud Products and Services in collaboration with execution and strategic partners.Responsibilities:

  • Design & develop, operate and drive scalable, resilient, and cloud native Big Data Analytics and Data products using AI/ML
  • Help drive technology transformation to achieve business transformation, that will help Change establish a leadership position in healthcare data & analytics in the industry
  • Ensure Products and Services meet SLA requirements
  • Work with diverse team of data scientists and engineers specializing in deep learning, active learning, and classical machine learning with one of the richest data sets in US healthcare
  • Be a thought leader and partner in the development and execution of the Enterprise Technology Strategy
  • Partner with Product Management to drive Agile delivery of both existing and new offerings
Desired Candidate ProfileQualifications:
  • Masters degree in Computer Sciences, or Mathematics OR Bachelor s degree in Computer Sciences, or Mathematics + 10 years of equivalent work experience
  • Strong knowledge and experience of AWS cloud infrastructure compute, networking, storage and other AWS cloud services like S3, EC2, EMR, SageMaker, EKS, ECS, Athena
  • Experience is SaaS products and big data technologies like Spark, Kafka
  • Deep experience working with large data sets, and have experience in building Machine Learning Platforms, applying Machine Learning and deploying data-driven solutions and data pipelines at scale
  • Strong fluency with Jupyter notebooks, Python and Python3 experience preferred
  • Understanding of columnar, OLAP, Key-value database like Druid, Cassandra, Redis preferred
  • Experience with data lakes, and data warehouse design; Cloud native preferred
  • Experience with Statistical analysis tools like SAS, Strata is preferred
  • Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance
  • The ability to communicate the results of analyses in a clear and effective manner
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to describe the logic and implications of a complex model to all types of partners (product managers, engineers, designers, senior executives)
  • Be focused on results, a self-starter, able to put the team first, and have demonstrated success in using data science to develop and deploy solutions with a focus on impact
