Job Description

The Global Workforce Transitions practice is a high impact team in the HR function of Wipro. We are a group of people who are extremely passionate about our client s success. We support our business teams in winning new business for Wipro and support our clients with complex people matters during outsourcing. This team is responsible for designing and delivering People Solutions for complex outsourcing engagements specifically in the area of People transfers from the client. This includes the whole life cycle of a deal from solution design and bid support to execution of People transfers. We are looking for a team member to work on deals across geographies. This is an Individual contributor role and will require working extensively with business and client teams on deals across geographies, and the role also includes working on CoE initiatives for the practice. Deal Pursuit: Partner with internal stakeholders from Pre-Sales, Sales, Delivery/Operations on a deal pursuit for an outsourcing engagement. Articulate the People Solution based on RFP information and present the solution, Wipro s capability and experience to the client. Due Diligence: Actively engage in HR Due Diligence for outsourcing deals & prospective acquisitions. Assess Current Structures, Culture, Terms of Employment, Policies & Processes and multiple other variables to create a strong Employee Value Proposition which maximizes offer acceptance & retention. Provide advice on regulations impacting transfer of people from one organization to other across regions. Engage with legal counsels in new regions as necessary. Perform a Risk analysis arising from the people transitions and design a strategy to alleviate the risks in a timely manner. Solution Creation: Collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders Pre, During and Post the Deal to design a People Solution that marries the business objectives of both companies to employees wellbeing. The solution includes overall strategy, transition plans, communication plans, change management plans for one or multiple in-scope regions and countries. Negotiation & Contracting: Negotiate with the Client on HR provisions in the contract while keeping legal and commercial nuances in sight. Engage with legal counsels for new countries and complex legal matters. Implementation & Integration: Work with multiple stakeholders within the organization to enable smooth transition and enhanced Employee Experience for transitioning employees. Partner with the Business HR team to engage with the to be transitioned workforce, present the offers and onboard them in the organization CoE Contribute to a knowledge repository, identify and drive improvement in processes, creation of reusable artifacts, case studies, best practices, and knowledge sharing. Pre- requisites for the role Masters/MBA degree or equivalent practical experience 8 years of HR Consulting, HR business partner or generalist experience Comfortable with ambiguity and being a part of strategy discussions with internal and external clients Excellent communication and presentation skills Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to stretch, manage multiple priorities, multitask and work on multiple engagements/projects at the same time Demonstrated success in working with cross functional teams with high collaborative skills and ability to manage various stakeholders Ability to work with global teams Preferred qualifications: MA/MS or MBA degree Experience with People Transfers, Mergers and Acquisitions Experience in multiple geographies Knowledge of employment regulations in multiple countries Roles & Responsibilities: Qualifications:,
