From a smartphone app, consumers can quickly and virtually obtain a credit or debit card through their financial institution and set preferences for when, where, and how their payment cards are used. Our products allow card customers to get real-time alerts, contextual advice and offers, as well as perform many self-service actions.We provide over 4,500 banks and credit unions with digital card services and solutions that transform how consumers interact with their financial products and institutions.Role:We are seeking a strong candidate who is passionate about leading technical software development teams in an agile environment. This role will be key in driving the mobile app development of Ondot product.What you will do:

• Day to day tasks would be to work with your local product manager, peers, UX people and engineers to drive the implementation of the mobile roadmap.
• You are expected to drive the team to excellence by training and mentoring engineers in development methodologies as well as drive the quality of the code of your engineers and the delivery of Unit and Automation test cases associated with your team s code.
• Drive the execution of test plans as part of the application development and release cycle.
• Draft and review integration documents and sample code for our clients as well as our internal teams.
• Continually assess integration challenges and come up with creative solutions by working closely with other engineering leaders within the organization.
• Grow and mentor the team, encouraging the highest levels of craftsmanship and contribution to engineering and business goals.

What you should have:

• Strong knowledge of Android and/or iOS, JavaScript-based languages (React, AngularJS, NodeJS, etc) and hybrid application development frameworks (Cardova/Ionic).
• Ability to diagnose and fix issues in mobile apps and diagnose issues in SDKs, APIs, and backends.
• Good understanding of Unit testing, Espresso/XCUI and Mobile Automation Test and CI/CD for Mobile.
• Experience using network proxy tools e.g. Charles, Wireshark, Fiddler etc.
• Good in modern mobile architecture as well as software design patterns to ensure the productivity, maintainability and scalability.
• Experienced in driving good practices, code reviews and mentor engineers.
• Excellent in project management, leadership, people skills and feedback conversations.
• Excellent in oral and written communication as well as feeling confident presenting to peers and leadership people.
• Ability and experience in driving project both local and with remote resources to successful results.
• Experience working with dependencies towards other teams and using influence towards further advancing your teams goals and success.
• Experience researching relevant industry trends, usage analytics, competitive pressures and applying to product strategy & roadmap.
• Strong analytical orientation and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to create a clear, concise presentation of findings, and effectively present to any level of the organization.
• Flexible in adjusting to changes to goals and priorities. Able to determine and work to priorities according to company requirements..
