If you have this type of passion, we invite you to take a look at the opportunities available to come join our team.We are looking for a highly talented and passionate Software Development Manager to lead a team of Smart engineers developing SW tools for next generation AMD GPU processor & platforms.-Should have BE/MTECH/MS degree in Electronics, Computer Science or related engineering field from reputed university.-Should have 15+ yrs of SW development experience with 10+ years in Technical leadership and 5+ years in building and managing high performing software engineering team.-Should have strong technical knowledge of semiconductor industry, lead teams as a technical influencer and delivered exceptional results.Key responsibilitiesAs the Manager of the India team, the individual will be responsible for leading a high-caliber team of experienced SW engineers who are responsiblefor development and delivery of SW solutions and tools for AMD s Next Gen line of GPUs for DataCenter and Gaming.Key responsibilities include the following:

  1. Define and manage team deliverables.
  2. Project and plan for resources based on future needs
  3. Coordinate dependencies with other stakeholders (Design architects, Validation and Customer engineer teams)
  4. Collaborate with the global leadership team on planning and execution
  5. Organize team to ensure it is performing to its full potential
  6. Coach and mentor career growth for team members.
Required Skills
  1. Experience in System level and/or large scale software development using Object oriented programming (Python, Java, C or C++)
  2. Knowledge of variety of programming languages, codes and processes.
  3. Expert in troubleshooting and ability to assess quickly complex programming applications.
  4. Understanding of CPU/GPU microarchitecture and / or system level architecture
  5. Awareness of SW stack components (OS, virtualization, I/O, etc)
  6. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  7. Manage project resource, cost and timelines.
  8. Experience in conducting and driving development in Scrum environment.
  9. Raise team productivity and effectiveness by defining and driving metric-driven software engineering best practices.
  10. Knowledge of Pre-silicon and Post-silicon product life cycle will be added advantage.
  11. Understanding and hands-on experience with Linux kernel and user space software development.
Required leadership experience:
  1. Should have managed a team of at least 10 engineers with complex projects.
  2. Demonstrated experience in team building, organization, budget planning, project management, and dependency tracking.
  3. Should have passion for code quality, operational excellence and people development.
  4. Excellent communication skills, proactiveness and ability to work with minimal input and directions.
  5. Build an effective development organization by driving hiring of senior level engineers, developing and managing the group
